Research Area and Scientific Interests
Main research field: Interaction of intense electromagnetic (laser) fields with atoms, molecules, nanostructures and plasmas.
Research experience in:
· nonlinear (single and multiple) ionization of atoms and negative ions in strong laser fields;
· high order harmonic generation in intense femtosecond laser pulses;
· interaction of atomic clusters and nanofilms with intense short laser pulses, including nonlinear plasma effects and mechanisms of energy absorption and conversion.
